Pooja Bedi flags off blind car rally at Purple Fest in Goa

On the second day of the Purple Fest in Goa, a blind car rally was organised.

The starting point of the rally was the Inox courtyard, Panjim, and it went on to Miramar.

Minister for Art and Culture Govind Gaude, Minister for Social Welfare Subhash Phal Desai and actress Pooja Bedi flagged off the blind car rally.

The blind car rally had persons who were visually impaired and were guiding the driver.

There were over 30 cars that took part in the rally which was organised as part of the Purple Fest at Panjim.

The driver and the other participants of the car rally were provided a set of instructions and guidelines which they followed in order to find their route.

The Purple Fest is a first-of-its-kind inclusive fest that embraces and celebrates persons with disabilities.

The Purple Fest is currently underway at the Entertainment Society of Goa till January 8, 2023.
