ON THE HIPPIE TRAIL?
You don't need to be a hippie to hangout in Anjuna. There's so much for visitors to see and do in this beautiful village in North Goa. So, here are some stops for your itinerary. Check them out!
It's hard to miss the magnificent Church of St Michael, commonly called Anjuna Church. While you're there, take in the beautiful architecture as well as spot the image of the patron of the church, St Michael, on the facade.
In close proximity to the church is Infant Jesus Farm, where you can purchase fresh fruits, flowers, soil and pots. And, you can even stroll around the farm and take a look at some farm animals.
In order to reach the Miraculous Cross, you need to climb around 300 steps. Along the way, you will get to see all the 14 Stations of the Cross. But, be warned, the uphill climb is not for the faint-hearted!
Shopping along the beach is a different feeling altogether, in the midst of colourful beach wear, sunshine in the sky, and, of course, the sandy shores of the beach!
Bob Caper is an open air restaurant and bar with a stunning view of Anjuna beach and the blue sea in the distance. The place also has a nightclub in addition to being open on all days of the week.
