The Pilerne Thursday Heritage Market celebrated local berries of Goa, keeping in mind summer, the most appropriate season to enjoy these wild fruits.
The market had on display and sale a wide range of local berries such as jamun, chara, chunna, love apples, etc.
It also had various Goan handmade and homemade products on sale.
One could also try mouth-watering snacks and savouries prepared in Goan homes.
Mango and related products were also on sale.
Visitors to the market witnessed entertainment activities, games and music.
Over all, it was a fruitful experience for both visitors and villagers of Pilerne, and everyone left the venue feeling grateful for the time enjoyed.
