1) NIGHTLIFE
North Goa is mostly known for its beach-side parties and nightclubs, and also not forgetting the EDM festivals.
2) SOUTH SOLITUDE
However, once in South Goa, one can find peace and solitude on its white sandy beaches which are less crowded compared to the North.
3) FLEA MARKETS
North Goa is known for its flea markets in places like Anjuna, Arpora and Baga.
4) HIPPIE MARKETS
The flea markets can trace their origin to the hippies, who flocked to Goa in the late 60s and early 70s and revealed it to the world.
5) FORTS
Most of the forts are located in the North. The known ones are Aguada and Reis Magos forts, which are popular tourist attractions.
6) CAFES
North Goa also has some crazy range of cafes which are known for its wide-ranging cuisines and amazing ambience.
7) ADVENTURE
Most of the adventure activities like bungee jumping (at Mayem lake in Bicholim taluka) are found in the North.
8) CROWD
However, if you want to be away from the crowded North, the quiet beaches of South are not too far.
