Moira's 'Saturday Market' was recently held at the Moira Club premises, and was hosted by one of Goa's oldest clubs, Associacao Academica de Moira.

The Saturday market featured a variety of products by local vendors from the village as well as from surrounding areas.

FLOWER POWER

For plant enthusiasts, there was a stall with a colourful selection of aquatic plants, shade-loving plants and succulents for sale.

HOMEMADE TREATS

Homemade delicacies, such as pickles in a variety of flavours, traditional sweets etc, made from locally-sourced ingredients were a treat for the taste buds.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

For those looking for a Christmas bargain, there were numerous options for the upcoming festive season, ranging from tablecloths to table mats to decor and more.

The Saturday Market, in Moira, was a hub of shopping, entertainment and, of course, good food, such as chaat, sausage pao and grilled dishes, whose mouth-watering aromas filled the air.

While the Saturday market was brimming with loads of lovely items to purchase, what's an evening without entertainment? And, there was plenty of the latter in the form of live music, DJ tracks and games.
