Several tourists were seen clicking selfies and photographs at a prohibited area of Anjuna Beach, in North Goa.
This place at the beach is an interesting spot as one can see waves crashing against the rocks and making quite a splash.
The tourists were snapping away, throwing caution to the wind, as they waited excitedly for the waves to make a photogenic splash, which they could capture in the background of the photographs.
The one who was clicking the photographs didn't want to miss out on the opportunity, and took out his phone to capture a selfie.
At the same time, there were many others who gave their best poses as they captured the sea and the waves on their cams.
All went well until the sea suddenly got rough and large waves started to crash against the rocks.
In the blink of an eye, a huge wave hurtled them in the water, bringing their photoshoot to a watery end.
Following this, all of them ran for their lives and headed to the safety of the shore!
Being a dangerous spot, there used to be a warning signboard, which got weathered in time and fell off, leaving no alert sign for the many tourists who flock to this popular beach.
