‘Tarang – Empowering Women’ organised The ‘Tarang Consumer & Lifestyle Exhibition’ at Don Bosco Oratory, in Panjim, last week.

THE ORGANISERS

Founded by Sweta Chari and Mansi Govekar, Tarang – Empowering Women is a Goa-based women entrepreneurs collective, which promotes women-led enterprises, big and small, through various initiatives.

GREEN SCENE

An attractive selection of potted plants, from espicia to gerbera, were on sale at Shruti Vernekar's 'Plantverse' stall.

STRENGTHENING BONDS

Sangita Sutar, who had a stall at the pop-up for the first time, sold over 250 handcrafted rakhis during the 3-day exhibition.

PROBIOTICS FOR GOOD HEALTH

A popular stall at the exhibition was Kelan Smart Life Yogurt, which even received orders for their products.

BEDAZZLED!

Pooja’s gold-plated jewellery offered a variety of eye-catching designs.

Participating for first time, the Jogan Nari designer brand had a sizeable collection of women’s wear, from sheer saris to ethnic ensembles.

Ditvedic handcrafted skin care, by Neha Lotlikar, offered a range of products from handmade soap to lip balm.
