MANGROVES IN FOCUS

Explore, conserve and thrive with the Mangrove Odyssey – a celebration of Goa's mangroves through art, music, learning and more – held on October 26, 2024 at Sadhana Dell 'Arte, an art space in Merces.

CULINARY WISDOM

Organised by OneEarth Foundation (OEF), the festival included a culinary workshop, led by chefs Michael Swamy and Mugdha Sudhir, who showcased the culinary potential of mangroves.

MANGROVE PHOTOGRAPHY

A photography competition, titled 'Mangroves through My Lens', was held, and the entries of all the participants were on display.

FUN & LEARNING

A variety of fun activities for all ages were organised, including a Mangrove Nature Classroom Workshop, Mangrove Trail Exploration, culinary demonstrations, and more.

ART INSTALLATION

A thought-provoking art installation, themed around 'mangroves', by artist Miriam Koshy-Sukhija was on display.

GROOVY TUNES

Later in the evening, visitors got a chance to listen to lively and insightful tunes by a live band, known as Pran: The Mangroove Orchestra.

FOOD & FLEA

The festival concluded with a vibrant jamboree, featuring food and a flea market to celebrate the evening at the Mangrove Festival.
