Xaxti Riders organised a cycling event to raise awareness about childhood cancer, demonstrating their continuous support for advancing children's causes.
The event also served as a remarkable motivator for team members for promoting their own well-being and health and also support the efforts to raise funds for children suffering from cancer.
In its third year, CycleForGold is India’s largest charity cycling challenge to support, raise awareness and funds to improve survival for children with cancer.
Dr Anupama Borkar, Head of Medical Oncology at Goa Medical College, praised the cycling initiative and expressed that events like these play a crucial role in raising awareness on child cancer.
To raise awareness, over 1,000 riders from cycling clubs all over India collectively cycled more than 4,00,000 kms in 35 days between February 4 and March 10, 2024.
