Goa launches 37th National Games mascot, Moga

MOGA THE MASCOT

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant launched Moga (Indian bison and Goa's State animal), the mascot for the upcoming 37th National Games to be held in Goa this year.

LAUNCH CEREMONY

The launch ceremony was held in a glittering function at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Taleigao, on June 18, 2023.

EXTRAVAGANZA IN WAITING

The games are likely to be held in October-November this year.

GAMES SCHEDULE

According to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, the dates for the games will be announced after obtaining confirmation from Prime Minister’s Office.

SPECIAL GUEST

Olympic medallist and Padma Vibhushan awardee Mary Kom was also present at the launch as a special guest.
