BEAT SHOWS

Goans love the beach, and they love music. ‘Beat shows’ combined both, and were highly anticipated open-air music concerts that defined Goan summers in the 80s and 90s.

BOUFFANT

Back in the 60s and 70s, the trending hairstyle for women in the West was the 'Bouffant,' sported by everyone from Jackie Kennedy to Brigitte Bardot and countless housewives.  And, it was seen in Goa, too.
