GREY & WHITE
Dark grey skies with masses of white clouds are a familiar sight during the monsoons in Goa. Incidentally, grey and white are the colours of Day 3 and Day 5 of Navratri.
Royal blue is what the 7th day of Navratri is all about. It’s also the colour of Goa’s night sky in summer, embellished with twinkling stars.

RED
The sixth day of Navratri is celebrated with the colour red, a colour that whisks us off to Goan kitchens, where some of the most fiery and delicious Goan dishes are prepared using local red chillies.
Pink and purple signify the colours of Day 8 and 9, respectively, and are also the colours of those rare Karvi flowers (Strobilanthes callosa) which bloom once in 8 years in some parts of Goa and the Western Ghats.
