Shri Māvuli Devi Temple is a little temple located in the village of Chigule, in Karnataka, very close to the Goa-Karnataka border.

The monsoon season is the perfect time to head to this spot, which is when the Ghats are draped in nature's green finery. What's even more exciting is being enveloped by passing cloud, leaving you feeling like you've reached the heavens!

GETTING THERE

Head to the village of Kankumbi (which you'll find just after crossing Chorla Ghat). There, a small road leads to the village of Chigule, where the temple is located.

FINE FALLS

Just before reaching the temple, you'll can't miss the Chigulegundi waterfall. Located just besides the road, it is very active during the monsoons.
