KALAILELE (MIXED) FOV

This is the easiest of all of Goa’s fov preparations, where the fov is simply washed and then mixed with jaggery and grated coconut.

BATAT (POTATO) FOV

Boiled potatoes form the main ingredient of this preparation. Fov is added along with basic seasonings of salt, sugar and turmeric, followed by a garnish of grated coconut, and a tempering of chillies, coriander leaves and mustard seeds.

ROSANTLE (COCONUT JUICE) FOV

Coconut milk, jaggery and cardamom add a mild and distinct flavour to Rosantle Fov. Banana is occasionally added as well.

TAKANTLE FOV

Takantle Fov is made of buttermilk tempered with mustard seeds, jeera seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and green chillies.

DAHYATLE FOV

Curd tempered with mustard seeds, jeera seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves make up the delicious Dahyatle Fov.

DUDHANTLE (MILK) FOV

The ingredients of Dudhantle Fov are milk with a dash of cardamom powder. Cashewnuts and raisins are sometimes tossed in to turn it up a notch.
