Hosa, restaurant and bar, Siolim, recently hosted an exhibition, titled 'Over A Hundred Summers', an ode to Goa's timeless architectural heritage.
The exhibition was curated by Art Consultant, Curator and Writer, Samira Sheth.
The exhibition, 'Over A Hundred Summers', featured the works of noted artists such as Dr Subodh Kerkar, Shripad Gurav, Siddharth Kerkar and photographer Ulka Chauhan.
Subodh Kerkar, founder of Museum of Goa (MOG), Pilerne, showcased Goa through his beautifully coloured paintings of windows. The exhibition featured graphite, wood and copper, works.
Using his subtle artistic skills, fine artist and printmaker, Shirpad Gurav showcased scenes of Goa through his artwork.
Street and documentary photographer, Ulka Chauhan, captured the essence of Goa through photography. The work attempted to capture the beauty of Goa’s old homes, structures that lend such colour and character to Goa’s landscape.
Artist Siddharth Kerkar, who was born and brought up in Goa, threw light on life in Goa.
