THE GOAN SPIRIT

The SAG ground, in Colva, comes alive for three days with the Spirit of Goa Festival which began on May 17, 2024. This celebration of Goan culture and heritage also offers a platform for locals to express their talents.

FOOD AND DRINK

With over 40 stalls serving delectable food and refreshing drinks, visitors were spoilt for choice at the festival.

A WOMAN THING

With its impressive collection of Kunbi sarees and assorted hand-woven items, the festival also reflected the spirit of women empowerment.

SAVE IT FOR A RAINY DAY

Essentials of the Goan kitchen, such as homemade masalas, pastes and pickles, prepared the traditional way by locals, were quite a hit with many visitors.

A LITTLE BIT OF GOA

Considering that the event venue was close to the popular Colva beach, quite a number of tourists walked in and got a chance to explore a bit of Goan culture and heritage.
