IN A FIRST

The first authentic German Brezelfest Goa, organised by three women entrepreneurs, was held in Seraulim, South Goa, recently.

PRESENTING GERMAN BEER

At the event, traditional German Munich Helles beer was served, specifically brewed for the event by the Seven Rivers Brewing Co in Aguada, Candolim.

FOR FOODIES

Goans got the opportunity to savour authentic German delicacies, including traditional German brezels (pretzels), prepared by Bakery Pausenenbrot, Benaulim, South Goa.

INDO-EUROPEAN INSPIRATION

A specially curated pop-up market featured unique handcrafted decorative items with Indo-European influences.

MUSIC FROM GERMANY

Die Kirchdorfer, an original Oktoberfest band from Munich, with over 20 years of performing at the Pune Oktoberfest, rocked the Goa stage with their music.

TWO IN ONE

The one-day event was held at The Base, in Seraulim, and brought together two cultures – German and Goan.
