Earlier serving as the headquarters of the Bardez and IIhas communidades, this iconic blue building near the church square, now houses a bookstore and other fashion outlets.

MUNCIPAL GARDEN
Just around the corner is the Panjim Municipal Garden, also known as Jardin Garcia de Orta, which gives city dwellers the opportunity to relax and enjoy the evening breeze.

Right opposite Singbal book house is the famed George Bar and Restaurant. Started back in 1956, it continues to stir flavourful dishes that still bring a smile on the faces of regulars.

New on the block, just at the roundabout, this tiny outlet, called Uncle J's, let's tourists and locals savour some delicious waffles and fresh juices.
