The Ashtamichi feri (feri translates to 'fair' in English), currently happening at the Panjim promenade, is an annual event that comes to town just before the Hindu festival of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The fair extends all the way from Bhagwan Mahavir Bal Vihar Children's Park, in Campal, up to the ferry point in Panjim -- a stretch of roughly 1.5 km.
The fair offers just about all the essentials that a family requires to gear up for the upcoming festival of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Apart from festive essentials, one can find all sorts of trinkets and utility items such as fidget spinners, face massagers, keychains, LED night lamps, Rubik's cubes and more at this big fair.
No fair is complete without bright and colourful clothes and accessories for kids. Take a stroll along the Mandovi promenade, and find plenty of stylish garments on sale at this feri.
All kinds of bags, from totes to slings, in the latest designs and colours, are also available.
Which gal doesn't like footwear? Shoppers can choose from a wide range of shoes, from casuals to trendy sandals to traditional juttis at reasonable prices without compromising on quality.
So, if you happen to be looking to do some quick shopping in Panjim, don't forget to drop by the fair for some of the fairest deals around!
