Catching Dust a drama thriller film directed by Stuart Gatt will be the opening film at the 54th IFFI to be held in Goa.
About Dry Grasses, a film directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan, is a Turkish drama. This film was also in the competition section of the Cannes Film Festival this year.
Directed by Robert Kolodny, The Featherweight will be the closing film for IFFI this year. It is an American biographical sports drama.
Over 270 films will be screened at four venues – INOX Panjim, Maquinez Palace, INOX Porvorim and Z Square Samrat Ashok.
The International Section will have 198 films, 18 more than the 53rd IFFI. It will showcase 13 world, 18 international, 62 Asia and 89 India premieres.
IFFI will also have a documentary montage section featuring a mosaic of compelling documentaries from around the world.
