MID-FEST FILM

About Dry Grasses, a film directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan, is a Turkish drama. This film was also in the competition section of the Cannes Film Festival this year.

CLOSING FILM

Directed by Robert Kolodny, The Featherweight will be the closing film for IFFI this year. It is an American biographical sports drama.

AWARD AWAITS

At this IFFI, a total of 32 entries across 10 languages from 15 OTT platforms have been received and the winner will be awarded an amount of ten lakh rupees.

FILM BONANZA

Over 270 films will be screened at four venues – INOX Panjim, Maquinez Palace, INOX Porvorim and Z Square Samrat Ashok.

INDIA PANAROMA SECTION

Twenty-five feature films and 20 non-feature films from India will be showcased in the India Panaroma section. The opening film in feature section is a Malyalam film, Aattam, and in the non-feature section is Andro Dreams from Manipur.

INTERNATIONAL SECTION

The International Section will have 198 films, 18 more than the 53rd IFFI. It will showcase 13 world, 18 international, 62 Asia and 89 India premieres.
