54th IFFI: Goa gears up for cinematic showcase of the year

With just a few days to go before the 54th IFFI (International Film Festival of India) kicks off in Goa, artisans and labourers can be seen working at a rapid pace to get set for the big day.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Every year, the venues are transformed into a spectacular sight for the annual film festival which will start rolling from November 20, 2023 and go on until November 28, 2023.

WHERE DREAMS COME TRUE

Goa will roll out the red carpet for some of the filmdom's top celebrities at the inaugural ceremony on November 20, 2023.

LOCATION, LOCATION

These days, the ESG and the Old GMC -- the main IFFI venues in Panjim -- are bustling with activity as the opening date of IFFI fast approacheth.

ALL FOR IFFI

An assortment of IFFI-related material can be seen all stacked up in the INOX courtyard to get the place ready for the fest.

WORK IN PROGRESS

Work is in full swing at Maquinez Palace (Old GMC), which has always been the hub of activity ever since Goa first played host to IFFI in 2004.

READY TO ROLL

A variety of creative settings and displays are being readied for the 10-day festival.

LET THERE BE LIGHT

Apart from the artistic backgrounds and sets, the D B Marg in Panjim will be illuminated with spotlights and string lights in a multitude of hues.
