Next, we explored the quaint neighbourhood of Comba, known for its traditional Goan homes and old-world charm.

Here, we encountered beautiful Indo-Portuguese-styled villas featuring arched doorways and spacious verandas. This place offers a laid-back lifestyle—ideal for those seeking to explore Goa beyond its beaches.

3. MONTE HILL

For panoramic views of the city, we headed to Monte Hill. Perched above Margao, this hill provides a serene atmosphere and breathtaking views of the town below.

Here you will also find the Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy, commonly known as the Monte Chapel, a small yet picturesque place of worship, perfect for a peaceful retreat.

4. MARGAO MARKET

No visit to Margao is complete without a stop at Margao market, one of South Goa’s busiest spots where you can savour local delicacies and find unique souvenirs.
