14 Incredible India skaters spread the message of unity and love

The skaters’ journey which started on September 27 in Srinagar, Kashmir, will conclude on December 25 in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu

India as a nation has always been an attraction to foreigners, fascinating them each time they visit the country. Despite India’s diversity of culture, the people of this nation are bound by intrinsic love and unity. 

These 14 Indian youngsters have been on their journey to spread the message of unity and love via roller skating from Srinagar to Kanyakumari for more than two months now.

This Atulya Bharat Roller Skating Yatra is headed by Soni Chaurasia, world record holder in kathak, having danced continuously for 126 hours and 5 minutes.

India may have a diverse cultures, but Indians are united nonetheless.

India is a holy land where the spirit of patriotism, courage, valour, conscientiousness and a deep love for the nation prevails.

Rajesh Dogra Roller Skating School and the Varanasi Roller Sports Association with their nari shakti have organised the Incredible India Roller Skating Yatra, which is an adventurous and thrilling journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, starting from September 27 to December 25, 2022. 

During this period, the team will be traversing through 13 states, 100 cities and 10,000 villages and towns while promoting religious, historical heritage and tourist attractions. They will also be advocating for environment and customer protection by planting about 1 lakh saplings at major places. 

The skaters team will also create awareness among citizens towards an anaemia-free and malnutrition-free India. The team will also shed some light on the importance of women's education, in tune with the concept that India's power is related to the power of motherhood. 

Team leader Soni Chaurasia said that their journey will also spread awareness towards Fit India. The Incredible India Roller Skating Yatra will conclude on the day of Christmas, December 25, at Vivekananda Rock, Kanyakumari. 

She further said, “The team expects best wishes from the citizens of the country and financial support. There are 14 skaters, namely Sanket Dogra, Radha Paul, Manshi Roy, Ankita Sharma, Aditi Yadav, Vivek Dogra, Prakash Kumar, Neeru Dogra, Supriya Singh, Pushpa Bharti, Hema Ojha, Madhu Chaurasia, Kartikeya along with the team leader Soni Chaurasia.

Later when Shyamchand and Madhu Chaurasia, parents of Soni Chaurasia, were asked why they were travelling with the participants in a van, Shyamchand informed that the couple assist the 14 participants by providing drinking water, first aid, cooking for them, etc whenever needed.

Madhu Chaurasia said, “The skaters are taking noble steps to spread positivity across the country, and I feel proud about it.”

She related that they started their journey from Jammu and Kashmir on September 27, proceeded to Punjab, Haryana, New Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujrat, Daman and Maharashtra, and arrived in Goa on December 3.

Next, they will move towards Karwar-Karnataka, Puducherry and Kerala and then to Tamil Nadu, which will conclude their skating tour by December 25.
