A day after polling got over, Congress candidate from Canacona, Janardhan Bhandari, marched to Water department Office to protest against the irregular water supply in Canacona on Tuesday, February 15.
He accampioned by Goa Forward Party leader Prashant Naik along with residents from Potkem-Poinguinim, Partagal, Agas, Maxem, Loliem and Agonda.
They confronted the PWD engineer at Chaudi and asked to furnish reasons and justify the irregular water supply all over the taluka in recent days.
Bhandari stated that during campaign residents had complained about irregular water supply in some parts and the complaint was not heeded during the election period.
Prashant Naik urged them to restore the water supply in the area within a 14 days.
