Sara Khan and acquaintance booked for alleged narcotic use

Calangute police on the look-out for the drug peddler who offered the duo narcotic substances

Two non-Goan tourists Sara Khan and her friend Dr Abhishek Singh are presently on the Calangute police radar for their alleged excessive consumption of narcotic substances.

Calangute police conducted the inspection of a lavish hotel in Sinquerim where these two tourists were staying.

According to Vishwesh Karpe, DySP Porvorim, a Delhi-based financial consultant Sara Khan is undergoing medical treatment at a private hospital in Goa.

It was revealed through her medical tests that she had allegedly consumed narcotic substances at a nightclub in Anjuna-Vagator, due to which she complained of uneasiness. She was immediately admitted to a private hospital at Dona Paula.

Further, DySP Karpe revealed that a drug peddler reportedly approached Khan and her friend Abhishek at a party venue and offered them narcotic substances.

Calangute police are on the look-out for the drug peddler.

Meanwhile, Calangute police have registered an offence against Sara Khan, Dr Abhishek Singh and an unknown drug peddler under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. Police are further investigating the matter.
