Renowned Indian-born scientist Dr Asim K Duttaroy, who works at the University of Oslo, spoke about the possibility of future collaboration with BITS Pilani

The inventor of Fruitflow® and nominator of Physiology or Medicine Nobel prize from 2012 till date, Prof Asim K Duttaroy, a world-renowned medical scientist from the University of Oslo, Norway, recently visited BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus.

During his visit, Dr Asim K Duttaroy interacted with the campus director Prof Suman Kundu, Prof Souri Banerjee, Dean of Faculty Affairs Division, BITS Pilani (in online), faculty members, PhD and undergraduate students of Department of Biological Sciences as well as other departments and explored the possibility of future collaboration.

LECTURE BY DR DUTTAROY

Dr Duttaroy delivered a public lecture titled 'Development of functional ingredients from tomato (Fruitflow®) that improve blood flow and blood pressure' at BITS. 

HEALTH PROBLEMS RELATED TO BLOOD

Duttaroy spoke about how the Fruitflow can solve a wide range of problems related to blood flow and blood pressure. He stated how regular exercise, a simple food diet and sound sleep can protect us from a lot of unwanted diseases and help us to enjoy a healthy life.
