PANAJI: The Goa Legislature Secretariat has organised students’ parliament competition for the year 2019-20 in co-ordination with Goa Legislature’ Forum to inculcate amongst the students community the qualities of self-discipline, right of expression, tolerance of the opinion of others, improved debating and expose themselves to various virtues of democratic living. Twenty colleges participated in the students parliament competition. The prize distribution function will be held on January 29 at 4 pm in the PAC Room Assembly Complex, Porvorim in the presence of Speaker Rajesh Patnekar, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, Minister of Legislative Affairs Mauvin Godinho, Deputy Speaker Isidore Fernandes and Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat.
