Anjuna Police on Thursday, December 30, booked two persons for allegedly stealing mobile phones of revellers who attended the recently-concluded Sunburn Music Festival at Hilltop Vagator in Goa.
Police said that they have received at least 300 complaints from people who lost their valuables at the event.
Pranay Nakada, a college student from Nagpur, said that he lost his mobile phone during the concert. "While I am enjoying with my friends, I was shocked that the phone was missing from my jeans. My friends tried calling on my number but it was switched off," said Nakada.

Gnaneshwar Gomandi, head constable, Anjuna Police, said that complaints have been clubbed together and two persons have been arrested in the matter so far.
The accused, identified as Munkadir Bharkat Sheikh from Malad and Aizaz Khan from Sindhudurg. Both the accused had specially come to Goa to steal mobile phones, the officer said.
Police have recovered a few mobile phone handsets and are further investigating the matter.
The three-day event held at Vagator beach village in North Goa from December 27 to 29, has received flak as the state is witnessing a surge in Covid cases.
