While the Goa government has allowed physical classes in colleges from September 1, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday reiterated that the government does not have any immediate plan of restarting schools in the state.
“We don’t want to take any risk. For now, we have not taken any decision. There are no immediate plans,” he said.
The state government has allowed the Directorate of Higher Education to start physical classes for the current academic year, which commences from September 1, for second
and third-year degree students.
In the last special task force meeting headed by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, the committee decided to take a call on the reopening of schools after Ganesh Chaturthi.
