Salvador do Mundo
The village of Salvador do Mundo is located in the constituency of Porvorim in Bardez, North Goa. You can immerse yourself in the beautiful scenery of this village as you ride through it.
It is surrounded by marshlands and verdant trees such as cashew, teak and mango.
Riding through this captivating scene, you can stop and visit the Church of Salvador do Mundo which is an ancient monument, constructed back in 1565.
There are a few temples around Salvador do Mundo that one could visit like Shree Muchukund Swami Datta Mandir and Shree Krishna Temple Bhatmoda.
The ride along the Salvador road will give you a picturesque view of the paddy fields on one side, and on the other side, you'll find the Torda Creek.
The creek is breathtaking towards sunset as the sky keeps changing colours from orange to red and pink. It’s like a picture out of a postcard.
Parra Road
The famous Parra road is locally known as Madani. The road first got its popularity after the movie Dear Zindagi.
This beautiful road has coconut palms lined up on both sides of the road and is complemented by fields on either side as well.
The St Ann’s Church is along the same road, as well as a small chapel in the field. The Parra road is a route used to commute from Mapusa to Anjuna. Do consider a pit stop at Parra road to capture a few shots.
Badem Sunset Point
There are two routes that one could take to access this beautiful location. Both routes leading there have attractive scenery in their own right.
The route off the Assagao-Badem road is a route through the village where you will see beautiful villas on both sides with trees in-between making it a cool and shady ride to Badem Sunset Point.
The other route is via Siolim-Chapora road. This road runs along the Chapora River and riding along this route is simply charming.
Irrespective of the time of the day you ride along this road, the view is always pleasant. On reaching the Badem sunset point, you will witness a panoramic view of the Chapora River.
The view is phenomenal, especially during sunsets the skies look ablaze as if on fire. One needs to visit to experience this fascinating vision.
Ozran Cliff
This beach is located around 2 kilometres away from the main Vagator Beach.
The route to get to Ozran Cliff is through the arcade of shops, where the road is narrow but the view at the end of this narrow street is worth the trip.
The view from Ozran Cliff during sundown is heavenly. You can see this breathtaking view by sitting on top of the overlooking cliff where the sea kisses the skies.
Vainguinim Beach
To reach this beach, one has to walk through a narrow path beside Hotel Cidade De Goa. The beach is around 2 kilometres away from the Dona Paula circle.
The beach is perfect for photographs as it is not very crowded and is quiet. The beach had vividly green trees and naturally carved boulders, giving the scenery a nice backdrop for a photoshoot.
Camurlim
What makes riding through this small village interesting? You will see houses of different architecture and colours.
You will experience a cool village vibe when you spot a group of senior citizens chilling under a tree or outside someone's house.
As you ride along this route, you will cross the Camurlim ferry point. Here you’ll find old fishing canoes.
They do make a pretty backdrop for a picture. On proceeding further, you will find yourself riding along the riverside, and, my-oh-my, the view is simply enchanting.
