Dance is a form of movement like no other. And now, you can witness poetic interpretations and a celebration of movements by experiencing The Flower Women by Impana Kulkarni and group at Camoes Centro de Lingua Portuguesa, Panjim on April 4, 2023.

Impana Kulkarni is a postgraduate in Bharatanatyam, a Kalakshetra Foundation (Chennai) alumna and a graded Doordarshan artist. In Goa, she has founded and runs the Vyomi Arts Centre to teach dance and music.

Impana's works deal with environment protection, human behaviour, socio-cultural study and innovative explorations through collaborations.

Another show on the list is Weight of Sense, which is a 6-poem set that explores the constant death and rebirth of the survival instinct amid the thick of disappearing eco-systems and the collective self by Priyal Prana x Subhash Sajja and Swamp Poetry x Sound Art.

Priyal Prana explores and interprets anthropological storytelling and the ‘art of peeling’ through poetry, visual arts, filmmaking and open play.

Subhash Sajja is a multi-instrumentalist/music composer based in Goa. He has released electronic music individually and through collaborations.

At the event, he will share some of his unique sound design electronics, the electric guitar and a phrase looper.
