Watch the rarest of rare Venus-Jupiter appulse in Goa

The extremely rare Venus-Jupiter appulse can be viewed right here, in Goa

As we enter the month of March, be ready to witness an extremely rare Venus-Jupiter appulse that will be visible on the evening of March 1, 2023 and March 2, 2023 after sunset.

The Venus Jupiter appulse will take place from 6.45 pm to 8 pm in the low western sky, right above the sunset point.

The two brightest planets will be at their closest approach or in conjunction at this time, passing less than half a degree of each other, on these evenings in the constellation Pisces, and be visible in a stunning sight  in one view of a telescope at the same time.

To witness this phenomena, the Association of Friends of Astronomy, (Goa) has made arrangements with telescopes at multiple places in Goa.
