YET ANOTHER FEST

Although the Mango Fest has just ended, Goencho Festakar, Marius Fernandes, who is known for curating various local festivals, is all geared up to host yet another fest, right here in the bustling state of Goa.

With the arrival of the month of May, get ready to say hello to the Muddasachem Fest, which will take place on Sunday, May 14, 2023, from 11 am onwards at the Goa College of Agriculture in Old Goa.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Keeping in mind that 2023 is the year of millets, the attendees of the fest will get to see a wide range of millets which are commonly used in Goa while also relishing some tasty and healthy millet-based local items.

The festival will feature several fun activities such as, a mango orchard walk (ambeachi pasoi), workshops, stalls connected with millets, fruits, vegetables, flowers and Konkani music.

And, while you're there, be sure that you don't miss the cultural progamme which will feature ghumtacho naaz, folk dance, a Goan mango thali, nachnichi satva and much more.
