With the Festival of Lights fast approaching, the Saligao Institute has a fun evening lined up this Tuesday, including a workshop, music, games and more.
CLAY MOULDING WORKSHOP
There will be a ‘Clay Moulding Workshop’ at the Made in Saligao Community Market on November 7, 2023. Poornima Sakhalkar will be the resource person for the workshop, and participants will learn to fashion their very own diyas.
The event is open to adults as well as children, and no prior knowledge is necessary.

DIYA PAINTING COMPETITION
There will also be a Diya painting competition for children at the Made in Saligao Community Market on the same day. Kids upto the age of 15 years are eligible to enter.
Participants can bring their own diyas along or purchase one from the vendors at the pop up market. Participants will have to get their own colour and decorative embellishments.
There is no entry fee.
