Raeyna Mandal of ArdhAlpViraam can't hold back her excitement as The Showcase Bazaar that she is organising at the Club Mahindra Resort in Assonora on Friday (October 20, 2023) is receiving good response.
"I am still getting enquiries from more showcasers and the table stall count can go up to 15 without a doubt," she said and added, "Our showcasers are coming from other states to be a part of this initiative of human connect."
From a variety of handbags to scented candles to fragrance products and other homemade and commercial offerings, Mandal says The Showcase Bazaar is an intention-filled initiative that solely showcases the love that a showcaser feels when he or she creates her/his unique and divine offerings.
Raeyna wants to bring people closer to each other and she feels there is no better way to begin the human connection than bringing two sets of people together - in commercial language, they are called sellers and buyers and in divine language, showcasers and co-creators.
She began an initiative on WhatsApp called Showcasers' Paradise, which provided information regarding markets, festivals and bazaars across Goa along with all details so that interested showcasers could connect directly. Today, Showcasers Paradise has 70-plus members and is still growing.
The Showcase Bazaar was born out of Raeyna's own experiences as a stall owner where she learned how to find markets, arrange organisers, get their contacts and get space to showcase her products at festivals and markets.
To add spice to the event, The Showcase Bazaar is featuring a magical duo called the 'Chill Out Hang Jam' - a fusion music set with hand pan and electric guitar featuring Queen Cobra and Deeptoe.
Raeyna said she was indebted to Vikas Jha and the deciding team of Club Mahindra Resort in Assonora who gave a novice like her a chance to set up this bazaar.
The Showcase Bazaar will begin at 10.30 am on Friday and the entire day's proceedings will wind up by 9 pm.
Raeyna adds she has a surprise in store for the showcasers of the event but that will be out on Thursday (October 19) evening.
