There will be a requiem mass for the soul of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI at Se Cathedral Church, Old Goa, on January 9, 2023. The solemn occasion is open to the religious, the clergy and the general public.
Pope Benedict XVI was the head of the Catholic Church from April 2005 until his resignation in February 2013. He passed away in Vatican City in December 2022 at the age of 95.
