Now, you can get an up-close look at a rocket in Goa

The rocket is a scaled down version of the LVM3-M4 used in India’s Chandrayaan-3

On the occasion of India’s Independence Day, there will be the inauguration of the ‘Rocket Model’ in the Science Park of the Goa Science Centre and Planetarium (GSCP), Miramar, on August 15, 2023.

Commandant, 2 Signal Training Centre & Station Commander, Military Station Goa, Brig Arvinder Singh Sawhney, will inaugurate the facility.

After the inauguration, visitors will get a chance to check out the rocket model, which is an exact replica of the LVM3-M4 used in Chandrayaan-3 and is a scaled down version with a scale of 1:10.

Other programs that will be held are flag hoisting, pledge taking & Tiranga, march by GSCP staff, and Spot Quiz for the general public.

Registration is not required for this event, and it is open to the general public.

Thereafter, the exhibit will be open for viewing on all working days.

The Goa Science Centre and Planetarium (GSCP), Miramar, is a joint project of a division of India's National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) and Goa's Department of Science Technology & Environment.
