Green Club Goa is organising the much-awaited workshop on Sunday, March 26. Both topics of the workshop are hot in the present scenario. They are on superfoods and cater to health fans.

Nikhil Srinivasan the CEO and co-founder of Tridente Modern Farms Private Ltd, based in Bangalore, will speak on the method of growing, management, soil requirements and storage of microgreens. He is well-versed in the subject and has some mouth-watering recipes to share.

James D'Cruz, a botanist and zoologist, and also the farm manager and consultant, will discuss and elaborate on the growing of tubers such as turmeric, ginger, sweet potatoes, air potatoes, etc. He will lay special emphasis on the care, soil management, harvesting and processing of turmeric.

Another attraction at the workshop will be the sale of avocado grafts,  saplings such as cocoa, sour sop, bell pepper, etc; turmeric powder, moringa leaf powder, blue pea flowers, microgreens and other fresh produce, plucked straight from the farm at Fr Agnel High school, Nature Farm Pilar.

The workshop will be from 2.30 pm to 6 pm at Fr Agnel High School, Nature Farm (indoor), Pilar. The fees are Rs 300 per person. Pre-registration is necessary.
