Love getting your hands soiled and watching those plants grow? Gardening may only be your leisure activity, something that helps you uplift your mood, but here's your chance to win big with your own little green space.
The Botanical Society of Goa is organizing it's 32nd Annual Home Garden Competition acknowledging all those beautiful gardens that have been meticulously taken care of and maintained by Goa's greenkeepers.
Those who wish to participate can simply send in pictures of their gardens (photo size not exceeding 20 MB) via e-mail to botanicalsocietyofgoa@gmail.com latest by December 15, 2023.
Participants are also requested to mention other details in the e-mail including name, place, landmark, contact number and a little brief about their garden.
The different categories of this competition include:
On Ground (Home garden)
On Terrace (Home garden)
Kitchen Garden (Organic)
Balcony (Home Garden)
Institutional Garden
Each category will have three winners.
The jury will have a look at all the photo entries received and then shortlist participants for a personal visit. Winners will be decided by the visiting team who will judge the garden for various parameters.
So, wear those gardening gloves and get into action.
