Goa’s 6th Pencak Silat Federation Cup will see 600 leading players of India participate

The 6th Pencak Silat Federation Cup 2022-23 in the junior and senior categories (boys and girls/men and women) will take place at the Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim, Goa, on January 19 to 21, 2023.

The tournament has been organised by Pencak Silat Association Goa (PSAG) in collaboration with Indian Pencak Silat Federation (IPSF).
Cedly Braganza, General Secretary PSAG, reveals that 600 leading players of India are going to participate along with 100 officials in this championship.

States like Punjab, Manipur, Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Kerala, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal will participate in this tournament.

Braganza further said that the inaugural function of this event is on Thursday, January 19 at 4 pm.  The chief guest of this event will be Shripad Y Naik, Minister of State for Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Tourism.
The prize distribution ceremony is on Saturday, January 21 at 4 pm.  CM Dr Pramod P Sawant will be the chief guest at the prize distribution.

Guests to grace the championship for the three days will be Govind Gaude, Sports Minister, Goa; Ulhas Tuenkar, MLA Navelim Constituency and others.
