The 10th edition of the ‘Asturi’ pop up market as well as the ‘Overnight Lunar Eclipse Extravaganza’ will be held this weekend ie Oct 28 and Oct 29.
‘ASTURI’ POP UP MARKET
The Women’s Wing of the Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) in collaboration with Tarang Women Entrepreneurs presents the 10th edition of ‘Asturi’ pop up market on Oct 28 and Oct 29 at Taleigao Community Hall, Panjim.
The pop up will feature over a 100 stalls of women-run businesses dealing in fashion, food, accessories, décor, handmade items, candles and more. Added attractions include contests and a food court.

LUNAR ECLIPSE EXTRAVAGANZA
Cosmic Ventures, Goa, presents ‘Overnight Lunar Eclipse Extravaganza’ on Oct 28 and Oct 29.
The experience will include an overnight stay, food, snacks, campfire, stargazing and plenty of fascinating stories about the cosmos.

SCHEDULE
5 pm: Departure from Panjim with stops at Verna and Borim
6.30 pm: Arrival at NV Eco Farm, Dabal (Enjoy refreshments here)
7.30 pm – 9.30 pm: Stargazing program. Witness Saturn, Jupiter, the full moon, and the Pleiades cluster through a telescope, followed by a discussion on these celestial subjects.
10 pm – 11.30 pm: Dinner and campfire session. Participants will get to roast marshmallows and listen to stories about the universe.
12 midnight – 2 am: Midnight stargazing. Explore the H and Chi clusters, the Andromeda galaxy, Orion Nebula in the backdrop of the eclipsed moon. Hear fascinating stories about constellations and more.
2 am – 8 am: Bed time!
MORNING: Savour a delightful Goan breakfast with tea, followed by departure from NV Eco Farm to Panjim
11 am: Back in Panjim
TONIGHT’S ECLIPSE
When the moon passes through the earth's shadow tonight between 01:06 and 02:23 IST, a partial lunar eclipse will take place.
The eclipse will be visible from Asia, Russia, Africa, the Americas, Europe, Antarctica and Oceania. It will be visible in Goa from 11.31 pm on Saturday until 3.56 am on Sunday, with the maximum eclipse, occuring at 1:45 am.
