This Sunday, you can unleash your artistic side and learn to make rock art at the Museum of Christian Art. For those interested in trying some fancy footwork, there’s a bachata dance workshop at the Aguad Port & Jail Complex.
CHISELLED TREASURES
Ever wondered how early humans crafted their tools? How were the earliest artworks made? Experience the ancient art of stone tool making, and make your own rock art at a workshop at the Museum of Christian Art, Old Goa, on July 7, 2024.
Dr Namrata Biswas will be the resource person for the workshop.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
There will be a talk by an expert archaeologist on prehistoric stone tools and rock art found in Goa
Under the guidance of seasoned instructors, participants will learn the techniques used by early humans to fashion tools from raw materials
Participants can immerse themselves in the art of rock painting and engraving

BACHATA WORKSHOP
A beginner-level bachata workshop will be held at the Aguad Port & Jail Complex, Sinquerim, on July 7, 2024. Dinesh K will be the resource person for the workshop, which is open to anyone aged 15 years and above.
