As part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of India's independence, the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) in collaboration with Spic Macay, under the Shruti Amrut festival series, is organising a classical music and dance festival on Dec 17-18, 2022, at the historic Aguada Port & Jail Complex, Sinquerim, Goa.

The travelling festival is dedicated to the unsung heroes of India's freedom struggle.

The participating artists in the festival are:

December 17, 2022: Dr Bharti Bandhu (Kabir Gayan), Kapila Venu (Kudiyattam),

December 18, 2022: Aruna Sairam (Carnatic Vocal), Niladri Kumar (Sitar)

WHERE: Aguada Port & Jail Complex, Sinquerim

WHEN: Dec 17-18, 2022

TIMINGS: 5.30 pm onwards
