On the third day of the Mapusa Food and Cultural Festival 2023, the legendary nightingale of Goa Lorna concluded the fest, leaving the crowds in high spirits.

The large crowds that gathered were fortunate to witness the songstress perform famous tunes like “Bebdo”, “Pisso” and “Noxibak roddtam” live. People were seen singing along to her tunes and dancing their hearts out.

There were a ton of entertainment options available to the people at the fest. Apart from the famous Lorna, there were solo performances by young children in a junior category dance competition, a fire show, live band performances by Crimson Tide and Lynx, and a dance performance by Kanan. The live bands particularly got the crowd grooving.

This year at the fest there was an entry fee that was introduced, and you received a band upon entering. The bands around wrists had a vibe of their own when venturing into the festive arena.

The kids had an especially fun time with the wide array of entertainment available to them. These included the Ferris wheel, the bouncy house and the floating water boat arena.

All the foodies were in for a treat with the delicious food stalls that were set up.

The evening came to an end on a truly joyous note. The Food and Cultural Festival really upped their game this year with all the new additions and left the crowd wanting more.

Today, February 21, 2023, is the last day of the Mapusa Food and Cultural Fest. So, please drop by to savour some mind-blowing entertainment with new performers.
