A wave of emotions swept through the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) as Bollywood superstar Salman Khan graced the red carpet to support his niece Alizeh Agnihotri’s debut film, Farrey.
Fans erupted in tears of joy, their hearts overflowing with love for Khan, as he made his way to the IFFI venue. The actor was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd that ardently expressed their admiration for the beloved actor.
He emphasised that the story resonated deeply with the challenges and aspirations of ordinary people. Khan said, “There is that one lot, which is hardworking and want to make it big and then there is this another lot, who are rich and want to get their way. This film portrays this story.”
Farrey, directed by Soumendra Padhi, had its Gala Premiere at the 54th IFFI. The cast of the film includes Alizeh Agnihotri, Juhi Babbar and Prasanna Bisht.
Alizeh Agnihotri, who is making her debut as an actress, expressed her excitement and nervousness about the Gala Premiere at IFFI. She said that she was eagerly waiting to hear the feedback from the viewers and was excited to see how the audience perceived the film.
“I am excited to see how the audience is going to perceive the film and very excited to be here at IFFI,” Agnihotri said expressing her joy about being at the festival.
When she was asked whether she received any acting tips from her star uncle Khan, she said, “He is always giving a lot of tips.”
The other stars from the film Juhi Babbar and Prasanna Bisht also walked the red carpet along with the director. They expressed their excitement and said that the audience would surely love this film.
