The 3rd edition of Potters Fest Goa will be held on January 12, 13 and 14 (11.30 am onwards) at the FL Gomes Garden, in Campal, Panjim. The event will feature the work of 38 studio potters from across the country over the span of 3 days.
This concept has been created to enhance art and the artists, by giving them a platform where they can market their work.
STUDIO POTTERY
Studio pottery is a new take on an age-old craft, where modern and advanced technology is adopted in the process of making pottery, and artists create one-of-a-kind pieces in limited quantities.
A large portion of studio pottery is dinnerware or cookware, although an increasing number of studio potters also create non-functional or decorative products.
This form of pottery has gained popularity in recent years, especially when it comes to home decor.
