There is a different kind of energy flowing in the surroundings of Avataara Resort and Spa at Chivar, Anjuna, Bardez, these days.
The resort is gearing up to host a celebration of music and dance on two consecutive days, June 30 and July 1, 2023, and is expecting a packed house to witness incredible music and entertainment from 7.30 pm onwards.
Avataara, which is surrounded by acres of lush greenery where life comes to unwind, is all eager to host Susmit Sen, founder of India's premier rock fusion band, Indian Ocean, and Ridhima Bagga, acclaimed kathak dancer.
ILLUSTRIOUS MUSIC
Susmit will be playing his signature music, which is set to mesmerize the audience. Susmit comes with an illustrious music career spanning more than 30 years and his signature guitar. His innovative music sensibilities have enthralled music lovers for over three decades.
When he founded Indian Ocean in 1990, there was no pan-Indian band writing original music. Over the next few years, the Indian Ocean's musical sensibility was led by Susmit's compositions and unique guitar playing inspired by Indian classical and folk.
What followed was a sensation. The Indian Ocean toured more than 20 countries, produced six albums over the next two decades, and played a kind of music never heard before an Indian expression using mostly Western instruments, anchored by Susmit's self-taught guitar.
MEERABAI
Ridhima will showcase Meerabai (Meeraa-Beyond Devotion), which she herself has conceptualised and choreographed. The play is directed by the renowned theatre actor and director, Sudheer Rikhari.
It has crossed over 50 shows in Delhi and has been applauded by audiences and theatre critics for being thought-provoking and psychological in nature. It showcases beautiful blend of music, dance, and drama - which is the USP of Trialogue’s productions justifying the name “Trialogue”.
It will not be only about entertainment, on both days there will be plenty of food and drinks available throughout the night, so one can keep the energy level up while having a great time.
One should probably get their tickets before they sell out! Don't miss this chance to experience something truly special at this truly special event of Avataara's.
