Dance the night away at Cafe Lilliput, one of Goa’s oldest party spots

For over three decades, revellers have been letting their hair down at Cafe Lilliput, one of the most happening destinations for nightlife in North Goa.

Evelyn Siqueira

This laidback beachside bar hosts DJs and musicians from across the globe, playing a variety of music genres, from techno to blues, 7 days a week, making it a very popular destination among partiers.

Located on Anjuna beach, and very close to the Anjuna Flea Market, Cafe Lilliput is one of the most happening night spots in Goa, thanks to the great selection of music, delicious traditional Goan food and lively ambience. It has long been synonymous with the hippie scene in North Goa.

At night, the multi-coloured restaurant lights bounce off the waves, giving an almost other-worldly ambience

MORE THAN MUSIC

It is easy to spot Cafe Lilliput among the many beach shacks and restaurants that dot Anjuna beach. This two-storey club was founded in 1986, and has been one of the hottest destinations in Goa’s nightlife scene ever since.

The club is an ocean of calm during the daylight hours — an eatery with good food, great cocktails and beautiful sea views — and transforms into a rocking party zone after sunset. Events happen here regularly and often continue till dawn. And, there’s comfortable beach accommodation for those who don't feel like leaving!

A variety of drinks are available at the club

The club has accommodation for the convenience of revellers, who party well into the wee hours. The accommodation is quite basic, but is more than enough to provide a relaxed and comfortable stay.

In addition to the awesome music, good views, DJ, sheesha and fabulous dance parties, the menu at Cafe Lilliput offers a selection of traditional Goan, Italian, Chinese, seafood and Indian fare, which you can enjoy as you bask on the sun loungers, watching the sunset in the glistening sea ahead. At night, the restaurant lights spill into the sea, making the waves glow and giving the location an ethereal ambience.
